Parking is limited, so we encourage people to carpool.
Please note that remotely piloted planes will be flying all day, and spectators should stay alert
Food and drink will be available for purchase.
Please no tents or trailers (other than that allowed for competitors)

*NOTE: The best route to the UAFS from any direction, is to take highway 51. Turn North on Clay Rd., and proceed 3.2 miles. The field is on the right.

Event Scheduling based on Weather

Any announcements regarding weather will be announced here, so please check back frequently.
Due to factors such as contracts in place, the rain date decision to move to Sunday will be based on the latest NWS Saturday forecast at 1600 on Friday.
It is possible that the Saturday opening and schedule could be pushed back if weather forecast Saturday morning suggests that timing will allow flying later on Saturday. This decision will be made by 0500 Saturday morning after the morning NWS forcast before teams have left for the trip to Stillwater.
If the forecast changes overnight by 0500 so much that flying isnt possible Saturday, the decision to cancel or move to Sunday will be made.
If lightning is detected within 8mi of the airfield, everyone will be asked to shelter in their vehicles for 30 min. from the last strike.

FRIDAY

1400 to 1900: Technical inspections. Teams are encouraged to go through technical inspection on Friday night in order to reduce the possibility of missing flight attempts on Saturday morning. Alpha teams will not be offered scoring rounds on Friday unless the weather forecast for Saturday suggests a potential for less than 3 Rounds of Alpha competition.

1700 (approx) Dinner will be provided to participants ( students, teachers, volunteers)
