Please note that remotely piloted planes will be flying all day, and spectators should stay alert

*NOTE:  The best route to the UAFS from any direction, is to take highway 51.  Turn North on Clay Rd., and proceed 3.2 miles.  The field is on the right.

AMA Membership:  For flight team members that don't have an AMA card yet, you may show proof at registration by using the receipt for membership, or go to the following link and enter your AMA number and name, and you can print the page for proof:

**All people attending Speedfest this year will be given a ticket and stub as they enter the gate.  These tickets will allow you to vote for "Best of Show" in the Alpha Class, and will also be used to win prizes in different raffles that will be held throughout the day.  Save your stub, and vote for your favorite jet team!

FRIDAY

2:00pm to 7pm:  Technical inspections.  Teams are encouraged to go through technical inspection on Friday night in order to reduce the possibility of missing flight attempts on Saturday morning.  If teams do not have proof of flight, they may fly friday.  Speedfest pilots will be available.

SATURDAY

7:00 Gates open  
8:00 Competitor Registration / Technical inspections
8:30 Pilot / Flight Crew Briefing
9:00 Opening, and all-teams group picture with planes.

Heats will begin immediately after and alternate between Alpha, India, and Charlie  all day.  Breaks will be programmed periodically for judges.  Teams will be provided with at least 3 opportunities to fly.  Depending on weather conditions, teams could have as many as 8 flight rounds.

7:00 pm  or earlier  Awards Presentation

SUNDAY

Rain Date.  If Saturday event is cancelled or delayed due to weather, the schedule for Saturday will apply to Sunday.  The threshold for deciding if the rain date is needed is if teams have been provided with at least 3 flying opportunities per the rules.  Please check this site for updates.
